“The Pro Footballer with a Heart of Gold”! Nigerian-Canadian NFL Star Israel Idonije is Hot on Zen Magazine’s December 2013 Issue

Online lifestyle magazine, Zen is out with its December 2013 issue and boy is it a whopper. Sporting a black wool sweater, Nigerian-Canadian National Football League (NFL) star Israel Idonije is front page eye-candy for Zen’s 12th issue this year.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria in the 80s, Israel plays defensive for the Detroit Lions and has been known for his relentless sportsmanship and dedication. In the issue he is referred to as the “Pro footballer with a golden heart” all due to his foundation; The Israel Idonije Foundation which he started in 2007 to give back to kids in North America and Africa.

In their exclusive interview with the sportsman, Zen talk about what inspired Israel to start the foundation and what it’s like playing for the Detroit Lions.
