BN Bridal Shower: “Beauty & The Prince” – Jomi’s Fun Evening

For a bride-to-be what’s better than your bridal shower?!

You have your man, now it’s time for your girls to give you gifts, advice and a fun time before walking down the aisle. Bride-to-be Jomi had a royal “Beauty and The Prince” shower, where she had a dancer show her moves before she entered her castle, and got played a fairy tale video of her and her Prince Charming’s love story.

From Remi, the bride’s sister, a few weeks before the wedding –

“Jomi is getting married to a prince and so the theme of the shower fit perfectly Beauty and The Prince and it was awesome!

Together with the other bridesmaids and her close friends we rented out a hall in the heart of Bethesda, Maryland (USA). The décor was done by Pearls360 upscale events, who turned the space into a beautiful royal ballroom. We started the evening in true royal style with cocktail hour, and hors d’oeuvres were passed around. Staying in line with our royal theme, it was a sit down dinner with host and hostess serving dinner. Jomi loves butterflies too and so we incorporated that into the décor and to the dessert table done by Diwura Ayodeji of MonDelice.

For the games, we didn’t want the regular games of tissue paper bride so we switched it up and instead gave out props (boxers, suspenders, et.c.) and had the girls do impersonations of the groom for her to pick her favorite. It was so much fun and had everyone rolling in laughter. We then kicked it up a bit and played some naughty games (we’ll save those pictures for later *wink*). Her prince sent someone to present her with gifts; he read a beautiful letter from the groom and serenaded her leaving her in tears (of joy). For the highlight of the evening, we brought in a dancer, to come in and teach her some dance moves for when she moves into the royal castle.” *wink*

From the bride-to-be Jomi:

I had so much fun at my Beauty and The Prince themed shower. It was absolutely beautiful… I laughed, I cried, I was serenaded, and also learnt some new dance moves. There were too many great moments and I loved every single bit of it! My girls definitely made me feel special and reminded me that in His time all things are made beautiful.
