Celebs Party with Olamide as MTV Base celebrates the Rap Superstar

On Thursday 20th March 2014, Nigerian rap superstar Olamide was celebrated by music channel MTV Base as its Artiste of the Month.

Prior to the star studded party, Olamide was present at MTV’s head office in Lagos. The party went down at Quilox Lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Celebs including Banky W, Moet Abebe, Dammy Krane, Adams Ibrahim, Ehiz, DJ Sose, Stephanie Coker and Ketchup were present.

The celebration kicked off at the MTV office in Ikoyi, Lagos where Olamide met with senior editors, bloggers and fans .

Olamide expressed his full appreciation on being selected as MTV’s Artiste of the month. “This shows that hard work pays. Looking at where I started from to where I am today, being celebrated by the biggest music channel in Africa. Never give up on your dreams or let anyone bring you down with words because the sky is not the limit… it’s just the starting point.” he said.
