Football Fans Meet the Trophy in the Heineken UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour 2014

Heineken®, “the World’s leading international premium lager beer” has kicked off its UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour in Nigeria.
The trophy which arrived in Nigeria yesterday with ex-international footballer and coach Ruud Gullit, will be in Nigeria for the tour from Thursday 13th – Sunday 16th March 2014. The tour, which has been presented all over the world for 8 consecutive years by Heineken will be give Nigerian, Argentinian and Vietnamese football enthusiasts the chance to meet the trophy this year.
Speaking at the Trophy Tour press briefing in Lagos, Walter Drenth, Marketing Director Nigerian Breweries Plc, said,“the Champions league trophy tour, outside of Europe, is a uniquely Heineken® experience.
