Boko Haram Massacre Bella Naija

Boko Haram’s attacks on Borno State seem to be never ending. The terrorist group has struck again, killing over 270 people between Friday and Saturday.

Between Thursday night and Friday morning, four towns were attacked: Gwoza, Dikwa, Kala Balge, and Gambulga. Over 210 people were killed, ThisDay reports.

And then on Saturday, the insurgents killed scores of students who were travelling to Borno State to write their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Over the weekend, they also attacked the villages of Kaigamari and Ngoshe  in Borno State, killing 60 people. Armed with AK 47 rifles,  petrol bombs, rocket-propelled grenades, improvised explosive devices, and other ammunition, the terrorists attacked the sleeping and unarmed residents. They also set ablaze several homes, shops, and destroyed telecommunications masts, Punch reports.

This is heartbreaking. Our prayers go out to the families and loved ones of the casualties, and all affected by these attacks.
