Serbian Man Seeking Love on Facebook Rejected 5,000 Times

“If at first you don’t succeed, dust yourself off and try again,” once sang the late R&B star, Aaliyah. For the sake of Predrag Jovanovic, who sought love on Facebook but was rejected 5,000 times, that song should be remixed: “If after 5,000 tries you don’t succeed, perhaps you should give up!” LOL

The 34-year-old lover man sent 5,000 messages to women on Facebook asking them to be his girlfriend, but didn’t get a single positive response, Huffington Post reports.

“It is so very hard to meet women face to face these days. Those who go to bars or clubs are usually attached, those you meet perhaps by chance in the street don’t want to know because they paint you as a weirdo if you try to talk to them. Facebook seemed the perfect way to try to sell myself to these girls. Unfortunately it hasn’t worked out as I planned,” he said.
