World’s Tallest Teen is Engaged

Aww…how sweet. Who says height matters in a relationship?

18-year-old Elisany da Cruz Silva is set to become the World’s Tallest Bride. The aspiring model from Brazil who holds the current world record for tallest teenager is engaged to her boyfriend.

Elisany is 6ft 8ins tall while her fiancé Francinaldo da Silva Carvalho is only 5ft 4ins. They met two years ago.

The couple have been living together in a small town in Brazil for a year now. Despite being only 18, Elisany is eager to have kids, going on to say she will adopt if she doesn’t get pregnant soon.

She may not be able to have kids of her own due to the form of gigantism caused when a tumour grew on her pituitary gland.

Although she has already picked a wedding dress, they plan on staying engaged for a long time.

On the proposal, she says “I told him many times, ‘do not ask me to marry you because my answer will be no’ – I think that’s what he was thinking.”

Her construction worker beau replies “I was so nervous when I saw him there. I don’t even know how I coped. I have always wanted to go out with a tall girl and she came and fitted into that perfectly.”

Ain’t that cute.
