CHAMPIONS! Germany WINS the 2014 #WorldCup | Beat Argentina 1 – 0 in Extra Time
Germany are the WINNERS of the 2014 FIFA World Cup! Mario Götze struck gold in the 19th minute of Extra Time. It was a close match with both sides playing world class football.
With their 7-1 crushing of Brazil in the Semi-Finals, Germany were the odds on favourite despite strong sentiments for Argentina with well-loved superstar player Lionel Messi.
In the end, both sides gave it their all but Germany got the breakthrough and the cup is theirs!
