Ex Minister of Transportation Umaru Dikko Passes Away

Umaru Dikko, one of Nigeria’s former ministers of transportation, has passed away.

He died today at age 78, after being ill for a long period of time, Channels TV reports.

Dikko used to be a member of the National Party of Nigeria, which was once the country’s ruling party, and was a minister during Shehu Shagari’s regime in the 1980s.
