Libyan Military Plane Crashes in Benghazi

A Libyan military fighter jet crashed and exploded today in Benghazi.

The plane was being used to engage in paramilitary attacks in the eastern city, Yahoo News reports.

It is unclear whether the aircraft was shot down or if it experienced a malfunction. However, the pilot ejected safely from the plane before the crash.
