Tamar Braxton Opens Up about Being in an Abusive Relationship; Says ‘God Really Saved Me from Myself, Because I Was with the Wrong Person’

Grammy-nominated American singer, songwriter, model and reality television personality, Tamar Braxton, is speaking up about an abusive relationship she suffered for a long time in the past.

The 37-year-old star was on ‘The Real’ and she spoke candidly about her a past relationship affected her physically, emotionally and mentally.

According to Tamar Braxton, ‘I was with the wrong person, and when I was with the wrong person, it made me feel bad about who I was…He made me feel so bad about having dreams, having goals…and my dreams and goals was not the same as his. And because of that he used to beat me down, mentally and physically. It was just a really hard time for me.’

She explained that she was sharing her story in a bid to encourage young ladies all over the world.
