50 Year Old Commercial Sex Worker in Kogi Kills Customer with Rat Poison & Sets House Ablaze

Police authorities in Lokoja, Kogi State, have arrested a 50-year-old commercial sex worker for allegedly killing one of her customers, who was also said to be her lover.

She confessed that she had killed the man, a 41-year-old named Emma, because he wanted to make her his permanent mistress. She is also said to have confessed to killing several other men for the same reason, ThisDay reports.

Sources say she killed Emma by putting rat poison in his beer during one of their nights spent together. After he had consumed the drink, she subsequently extracted petrol from a generator around the house, doused the house, and set it ablaze. Emma was still in the house, which reportedly had a thatched roof. Afterwards she escaped from the scene.

She was arrested after a 4-week manhunt.
