Heartwarming! Dog Walks to Hospital She has Never Been to… To Find Owner Receiving Cancer Treatment

Dogs have got to be some of the most loyal animals ever. It’s no wonder they are often called “man’s best friend.”

American woman, Nancy Franck, had been at Mercy Medical Center in Iowa, receiving cancer treatment for two weeks. Her dog, Sissy, missed her so much, that she walked 20 blocks to see her at the hospital.

The amazing aspect of the story is that Sissy had never been to the hospital before, but she somehow managed to find her way, TIME reports.

“She was on a mission that night to see her mom, but she couldn’t find the right elevator to take,” said Franck’s husband, Dale.

Dale had noticed that Sissy was missing around 1:30 am one day, and was searching for her. However, the hospital’s security personnel called him, informing him that they had found the dog in the hospital. Sissy had a tag on her collar which had the couple’s contact information.
