Tonye Garrick in Gozel Green at “Press Breakfast with Tonye” in Lagos

Singer/Songwriter Tonye Garrick has been hot on the airwaves for her new single ‘Ari Belema‘ released a few days ago (Listen Here). But today, we are taking a step away from her music, to check out her unique outfit at her Press Breakfast at the Clear Essence Spa in Ikoyi, Lagos on Tuesday 17th February 2015.

The rising star was unveiling her new single to key stakeholders and decided to make an impression with her style. She wore a blue Gozel Green cape from their “Broken Pots and Other Stories” collection debuted at the 2014 GTBank Lagos Fashion & Design Week.

She took a different route from the runway interpretation, and paired the cape with tailored black shorts by Dahlia and a matching camisole. She didn’t stop there, Tonye also added some pop to her look with yellow strap heels.

Of course she had her signature pixie cut, and completed her look with subtle makeup and hoop earrings.

Her outfit is definitely unique, but then again isn’t that what style is?
