Bomb Blast Reported in Enugu this Morning
As the country steps out to vote, it has been reported that a bomb went off this morning in Enugu, at the Women Training Centre.
The State Police Commissioner, who confirmed the incident, has also stated that the anti-bomb squad was immediately called to the scene and they were able to successfully avert a second explosion by detonating a second explosive found on the premises.
Guardian Newspaper Reports that ‘there are five polling booths in the WTC complex and according to a female witness, who lives very close to the premises, the first bomb went off with a deafening blast at 7.38am’
