Nigerian Military Reportedly Recaptures Gwoza, Borno State from Boko Haram

Earlier this week, president Goodluck Jonathan promised that Nigerian troops would liberate Gwoza town from Boko Haram by Friday, March 27th.

Based on updates publicized via the Nigerian Armed Forces’ Twitter account, it looks like the president may have fulfilled his promise. The tweets state that the army has been successful in liberating Gwoza town from Boko Haram:
