Unhappy Voters Set Ablaze INEC Office in Benue
Voters in Benue who were unhappy with the election results announced in the state, set ablaze the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, office in Logo Local Government Area on Sunday night.
Public Relations Officer of INEC in the state, Louis Ochai confirmed the news, Vanguard reports.
“By tomorrow we should be able to get the full details of the unfortunate development, but for now the matter is being handled as a security issue; it is however regrettable. We just pray that our sensitive materials were not destroyed in he inferno,” he said.
