I just met Femi on an outing with my girls; I wouldn’t even consider it a “meeting” because we didn’t talk, but the question in my mind that day after seeing him was: “So there can be guys like this?“
I’ve never had a guy in my mind for more than three minutes, but this was different. To others, he probably was just this tall, handsome, blue-eyed guy; he was stylish, reliable and of course he had ‘the bar’. But to me, I saw a man, saw my man, I saw someone I could trust, someone that represented my personality of style and class and of course someone who will never break my heart.
At a point in your life when you want to take that bold step with the right person, you use all you’ve got to keep one.
The Other Side of The Story
I met Esther at a restaurant, she was all you could ever think – and look for – in a woman. It was ‘Love at First Sight’ and we’ve been inseparable ever since. She told me how all her exes disappointed her – when she needed them the most.
It’s just five months and I feel I’m ready to take that step….
On a regular weekend outing, I plan to tell her words I’ve been holding specially for her. Coming to the restaurant an hour early, setting everything in place for the announcement, and having everyone at alert; she drives in, comes out of her car and walks towards the door.
