Man who Vowed to Walk from Lagos to Abuja to Celebrate Buhari’s Victory Arrives in Suleja

Before the presidential elections were conducted, 33-year-old Suleiman Hashimu vowed to walk from Lagos to Abuja if Muhammadu Buhari won.

After Buhari’s victory, Hashimu proceeded to fulfill his pledge. And now, 13 days and five pairs of shoes later, he is practically at his destination. Leadership reports that yesterday, he arrived at Suleja, which is 35 kilometers away from Abuja.

Hashimu hopes to meet Buhari in person and congratulate him for his victory in the presidential elections.
