Definitely taxed! I don’t know about Government regulations but it IS a business (a racket in my opinion), and should be treated as such.

No time to watch the video, but based on the headline; Let’s keep morality aside with religious places and be objective. The people who give these monies give willingly. I don’t believe anyone forced them too. That aside, these people (who give money to religious places) are taxed on different levels.
You cannot tax money that has already been taxed.

My dear, we pay taxes on other commodities and our incomes used to purchase these commodities have been taxed. Please tax religious institutions.

Ok sorry not trying to knock the hustle of these fine young people but this was abit painful to watch. If the show is meant to discuss serious issues in a serious way then I’d suggest you guys do some proper research and come up with Valid and substantive points. If however the show is meant to be taken as a fun side show then pls carry on.

Most boring conversation ever. You guys should have brainstormed and at-least have some good point to present before showing on TV.

I love these guys….and you have to give them credit for raising though providing topics and real issues for discussion. They also back up their discussion with statistics from real studies. Please BN Keep them coming. These are young professionals based in the US voicing their opinion on real issues.

i like the fact that u can see hes making effort to address his viewers opinion about the show. anyways i think the young ladys view is so wrong. why will i want to live in deceit if i really am spiritual. if u really are spiritual ur Christianity will be tied to God and not any pastor so finding out a pastor is corrupt would change your views on God or anything.

Well, Mr noisemaker I do agree with reporting their earnings or their books accessible by the public but only request (you dont want criminals/armed robbers to be able to access that information easily). In an ideal world where the government actually serves the people or even work, this would be brilliant; but in our country where the government has not finished managing all its various revenue streams effectively, then this is another income stream for another person in government.

I completely get the point of accountability and I agree with putting in some measures to regulate or make the church accountable for its funds.

Gosh, you guys should invite me on the show. My perspectives are quite interesting and insightful, I have been told. They are not free from flaws neither do they mean they are truth but they are definitely observations. I feel like some did not do justice to the topic in this video.

Religious entities should not be taxed BUT taxes should be paid on/by the following:
    – Pastor/Imam income that’s paid from church funds
    – Gifts received by Pastor/Imam (cash, automobile, etc)
