Ben Murray-Bruce Says No Public Official Should Have a Convoy of More than 3 Cars
The political commentary from Bayelsa East Senator-Elect and Chairman of Silverbird Group, Ben Murray-Bruce, continues.
He recently took to Twitter to state that no public official except the president and vice-president should have a convoy of more than 3 cars:
Billions shouldn’t be budgeted for servicing convoys for public officials when children go starving because their parents haven’t been paid!

Left to me, apart from the President and VP, no public official should have a convoy of more than 3 cars at government expense.

Someone responded to me that officials need large convoys to protect them. Convoys will not protect them as much as good governance would!

A hungry man is an angry man. Therefore the way to fight insecurity isn’t to invest in bombs and guns but to invest in jobs and agriculture!
