Ghanaian designer Akosua Afriyie-Kumi of AAKS presents colourful handbags that have been handcrafted to be the woman’s perfect companion.

The bags were created in a women’s co-op in Bolgatanga, Ghana using unique to the region and made with raffia harvested from farmers in Ghana. Talk about keeping it close to home.

The collection is filled with totes, clutches, mini-bags, cross body bags and more detailed with leather straps, and tassel finishes. It’s a match made in the fashion heavens for Summer.
