Houseboy in Enugu Kills Female Employer | Attempts to Rape Widow Afterwards

A teenage houseboy reportedly killed his employer, a 59-year-old grandmother, and then attempted to rape a widow in the same compound afterwards.

The woman, identified as Agnes Elue, from Delta State, was clubbed to death by the houseboy with a pestle at her Enugu residence, The Nation reports. Sources say the houseboy was a close relation of the deceased.

After killing Elue, the boy left he body in the house for 4 days, before later confessing his crime to the police.

He was arrested on Wednesday after he attempted to rape a widow in the same compound. The widow’s cries for help attracted the attention of the neighbours, who subsequently called the police. It was while the police were trying to report him to his employer that her body was discovered.

The houseboy is currently in police custody, and investigations are ongoing.
