Former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido, and his two sons — Aminu and Mustapha, have been remanded in prison custody in Kano, and will remain there until September 28, as the fraud case has been adjourned until then for ruling on bail applications, Premium Times reports.

You will recall that Lamido and his sons were arrested by EFCC over an alleged N1.3 billion fraud.

Foolishness everywhere. What is the idea? To appear be doing the expected? Sorry Judge, only a lazy Judge will take that long to deliver a ruling on a simple bail application. No Nigerian, Governor or talakawa should spend two months in jail waiting for a bail application to be considered. We seek justice against corrupt leaders, yes, we also but seek fair hearing in all ramifications for all too. We need justice on civillised standards of legal practice, not a play to the public gallery.

Hope he doesn’t stay that long in jail waiting for bail.

Bruno, no mind this EFCC people. If he is there, it will probably be refurbished for him. Same thing happened to some big dude l know. The cell was evacuated, painted and executive bed, TV and Air Con were installed. He would stay there during the day and at night go home. Nigeria rotten, rotten, rotten. You only suffer if you are poor.
