Mass Rally to Hold in Osun Today in Support of Gov. Aregbesola’s Impeachment
Scores of Osun State residents are reportedly getting ready to hold a mass rally in support of Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s impeachment.
According to Vanguard, the rally is being organised by Civil Societies’ Coalition for Emancipation of Osun State (CSCEO).
During a press briefing that held in Osogbo on Monday, the group revealed that over 20 civil and faith based societies who are members of CSCEO are already mobilising their members towards the mass rally.
The group’s Chairman, Adeniyi Sulaiman Alimi, stated that the following associations are ready for the rally: The Voices, KIMPACT, Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice, Grassroot Democratic Network, Christian Initiative for Nation Building, Christian Leadership Mobilisation, Better Future Initiative, Nigerian Union of Pensioners (NUP), Justice, Development and Peace Commission Movement (JDPCM), Positive Movement, Good Governance Support Group, Democratic Socialist Movement and Conference of National Political Parties (CNPP).
