meek-mill-bb23-2015-billboard-01-650For the past few days Twitter has been buzzing with the beef between Drake and Meek Mill which all started with Meek Mill’s twitter rant (click here if you missed).

To be honest it probably started way before that but the world has no way of really knowing.

Drake has released two diss tracks (Charged Up and Back to Back) while Meek Mill has released none – so far. Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels got in the mix and released a diss track as well (click here if you missed it).

While everyone is waiting to see if Meek Mill will release a diss track for Drake (including Don Jazzy who offered to make the beat for him), Meek has been dropping subs on Instagram and Twitter.

He shared a photo of himself holding wads of cash to his ear and captioned ‘Right now I’m on the road still cashing out ….. Ima b in the studio soon…. 5hr ride to Montreal …’

Meek Mill

But in a new interview with Billboard magazine Meek Mill seems to be addressing some of the jabs Drake threw at him in ‘Back to Back’.

Drake rapped: You love her, then you gotta give the world to her/Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?/I know that you gotta be a thug for her/ This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more

Reply: Talking about him being perceived as going soft, Meek said “You can’t be hard all the time, man. There’s both sides to everything. What’s wrong with it? Jay Z was a street rapper and he had a girlfriend.”

Drake rapped: And shout-out to all my boss b*t*hes wife-in n*ggas/Make sure you hit him with the prenup

Reply: Talking about Nicki Minaj’s success in Billboard, Meek said “She wanted it to be my single, and I didn’t. It turned into an ego argument…She killed me on that song, but I don’t really care. When my girl do better than me, I still win. When I do better than her, she still wins.”

Sounds like a reply to us.
