From Performances to the Winning Moment! Get the entire Scoop from 2015 Aquafina EMLN Grand Finale!
We’ve brought you the fab red carpet looks from the 2015 Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria grand finale which held on Sunday, 13th of September 2015 at Eko Hotel & Suites.
We’ve also brought you the winners of the intense competition (click here) as well as they looks that got people talking on the red carpet this year (click here) and now it’s time to give you a recap of the most awesome moments of the event.
First Presentation – Aquafina
The 20 finalist models (10 male and 10 female) were first introduced to the audience with this presentation as they walked the runway in their Aquafina branded shirts and holding a bottle of Aquafina drinking water each.

At the end of their walk they yelled ‘Purity Guaranteed’ and took a sip from the bottle of water in their hands.
Model Walks
Throughout the night the models were dressed in top notch African brands as they showed off their walking skills, straight model faces and their curves.
Notably, the young lady who eventually won – Funmilayo Akinjuola – had a wardrobe mishap while walking for Meena as her blouse became undone thereby revealing more than the audience/designer/model bargained for. She however kept on walking with a straight face showing that a true model never lets any mishap affect her walk.

The Veuve Clicquot Style Awards!
As is the usual practice at EMLN, a best dressed male and a best dressed female were selected from the audience and this year the awards were won by Jide Adedeji (designer of J Reason) and Somkele Idlahama (actress) respectively.
The Veuve Clicquot Style Award winners were given a very special gift from the champagne house – it included a large bottle of the Veuve Cliquot.
Performances
There were three performances at the 2015 Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria.
The show was opened with EME artist, Shaydee as he sang his hit song ‘High’. His performance was followed by a few walks and then it was the turn of Toni Tones as she sang ‘Hey Boy’.
Toni Tones’ performance is one that will not be forgotten in a hurry as it had the male models walking in their swimming briefs while she sang.
Banky W closed out the show with two songs ‘High Notes’ and ‘Yes/No’.
Crowd Surfing + Hosts
Several people were spotted at the 2015 Aquafina EMLN (click here for the BN Red Carpet Fab). From Sijibomi Ogundele to Nkiru Anumudu and more, the 2015 edition of the Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria was star-studded.
The event was hosted by co-host of Star Gist Illrymz and co-host of Studio 53, Sika Osei.
Top Five Finalists
To announce the top 5 finalists, EMLN brought up the 2 winners of last year’s edition – Mayowa Nicholas and Victor Ndigwe.
The audience was shown how far these two have gone globally; from walking for Kenzo to meeting Kendall Jenner, Mayowa and Victor shared their experience as the winners of the 2014 Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria.
Mayowa then announced the top 5 finalists for the male models…
…and Victor announced the top 5 finalists for the female models.
Winning Moment
The winners of the 2015 Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria were announced and the whole audience erupted in cheer and applause as those were the two people a majority of people were rooting for.
The male winner was Damilola Okunola and the female winner was Funmilola Akinjuola.
The event was judged by Ezinne Chinkata, Agbani Darego, Bola Balogun, Lakin Ogunbanwo, Kelechi Amadi Obi and Norden Thurston.
