Exclusive: Nollywood Classic ‘Living in Bondage’ is Being Remade

If you grew up in a Nigerian household, then there is a huge chance that you remember classic Nollywood favourite, Living in Bondage. Well, a little birdie told us that the movie is going to be remade.

Award-winning Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah and entertainment/business mogul, Charles Okpaleke, are teaming up to remake the movie.

Here’s what we know so far:

  • The duo have purchased rights to the movie from Kenneth Nnegbue, and production is set to kick off in 2016
  • It is going to be shot on three continents – Africa, Europe and America
  • The movie will have a star-studded Nollywood cast and perhaps some Hollywood involvement

Sounds exciting! We can’t wait to see how the remake turns out. In the meantime, guess we’ll have to watch the 1992 version while we anticipate the remake:
