#HeinekenLFDW2015 – Day 3: McMeka
It wasn’t long ago that menswear designer, Rodney Emeka of McMeka won the MTN Young Fashion Designer of the Year award. And now, in 2015, we get to see him roll with the big dogs at Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2015.
Yesterday, the brand took another step towards fashion greatness by adding a womenswear line to its label. Like any fast-growing designer, showcasing a new line on such a huge platform, to hundreds of guests and practically the world via social media, must have been nerve-wrecking. But judging from the pieces, he has nothing to worry about.
With suits, blazers, trench coats, shorts, tuxedo dresses and more, he can add this showcase to his shelf of successes.
