Luxury design label, Iconic Invanity, is one of those brands that creates stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces that mesh the dynamics of African fabrics & prints and modern silhouettes and techniques perfectly.

Created by designer, Nancy Nwadire, this brand has been stealing the spotlight since its inception in 2012, and we are die-hard fans of her signature embellishments, carefully curated stitching and extravagant play on prints and the female frame.

We first got a whiff of the designer’s genius at the 2012 MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week, where Nancy showcased her “Luxury Sweet Candy” collection. That was the beginning of year after year of creating stunning pieces that would make any woman stand out.

Star Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya, must have been a fan of Iconic Invanity’s 2012 offering because she brought the look to life again for The Future Awards Africa 2015 event. Bev rocked a stunning piece – an ankara print long-sleeved dress with a thigh-high slit and intricate beading, paired with her luscious natural hair styled in a high puff twist-out. The look was pretty lovely.

This goes to show that a great piece is timeless.
