Just a few more hours to the 10th anniversary of the biggest gospel event in Nigeria.
The Experience is set to take place this night at the Tafawa Balewa Square and to kick things off there was a press conference this afternoon with some of the gospel megastars that you can expect to see this night.
The concert, organized by the House on The Rock Church annually, will feature talented acts like Don Moen, Fred Hammond, Frank Edwards, Donnie McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker, Kim Burrell, Jessica Reedy, Sonnie Badu, Chioma Jesus, Nathaniel Bassey, Sammie Okposo, Midnight Crew, Micah Stampley, Julius Nglass and the Lagos City Chorale amongst others.
The 2-hours-long event which kicked off with hearty banter and selfie sessions amongst the artistes featured a detailed speech from the host pastor, several remarks from the performers and an illuminating Q&A session with the media, all throwing light on the essence of the event.
Speaking at the Press Conference Pastor Adefarasin, asserted that The Experience offers Christians all over Nigeria and the world at large a platform for a divine encounter with God.
“The concert takes religion out of the picture and brings in an encounter with God” he said. He went further to explain that the House on the rock, is devoid of partisan politics and people from different denominations are invited and welcome to attend.
