Chiwetel Ejiofor Celebrates his Medical Doctor Sister Kandi’s Wedding in Enugu
A-List actor Chiwetel Ejiofor came to his hometown Enugu recently to celebrate his sister’s igba nkwu – Igbo traditional wedding/wine-carrying ceremony.
His sister Kandibe Ejiofor is a medical doctor and married her ‘Yoruba King’ Dele.
In this adorable video she shared on Instagram, Chiwetel was teasing that her husband is nowhere to be found! Since in Igbo tradition, she must present him with palm wine to drink, this would mean there’s no union, but it was only a joke. They clearly have a strong bond.
Her sister, CNN anchor Zain Asher can also be seen dancing happily in the video.
