Lynxxx celebrates Mum & Dad’s 40th Wedding Anniversary

Lynxxx has stolen our hearts this year with his deep Instagram posts and generally positive approach. Today, he celebrated his parents as they marked their 40th wedding anniversary.

Lynxxx (real name: Chukie Edozien) has 5 siblings – all sisters including popular makeup artist Elaine Shobanjo of Shomya.

Just a few days ago, he tackled the subject of honouring your parents;

Honor Your Father and Mother… One of the greatest commandments because it is said that if we cannot honor those that Physically brought us to the world how much would we Honor the father who we have never seen?
Often in lIfe we are dealt cards which sometimes affect the smooth sailing of this command but dont forget we may not have control over events but we have full control over our actions and reactions.
A major ? that shapes who we become as human beings is our formation as children by parents… Often if they did a good job we end up ?? but if there are cracks in our formation it tends to show in who we become. The Journey through life is one that we often could get carried away in and disregard vital things we NEED to do before its too late…. Especially at a certain age when we dont live with them (married, independent etc) they miss spending time with their offsprings but generational gaps in communication may hamper them letting their feelings be known and we inturn get carried away with the daily grind to make a living.
Essentially before i babble any longer, parents are one of our greatest gifts ever, if u are lucky to have them around SHOW THEM ALL THE LOVE in the world TODAY! Because some people wish they had this chance we often take for granted. Nothing lasts forever and regret is nothing positive so make use of ur today and put a smile on their faces.

If for any reason u are in disagreement with your folks, remember that one of the things that blocks ur blessings is holding grudges (why would God forgive u if u cant do the same to your brothers and sisters?) Set your self free and rekindle strained relationships before its too late to, life is too short to obey ur ego over your God.
