Kanye West’s Sexual Lyrics about Taylor Swift on “Famous” is causing Backlash | Taylor Swift Reportedly Approved the Lyrics
Kanye West’s show for his new collection also doubled as a listening party and when one of his new songs off the album “The Life of Pablo” came up, some people were not too pleased.
In the song “Famous”, Kanye West raps about pop star Taylor Swift in graphic details.
He raps:
I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/
Why? I made that b*tch famous/
God damn /
I made that b*tch famous
Kanye West and Taylor Swift have had quite the history ever since he rushed the stage and grabbed the microphone from her at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. They have since settled their differences and she even presented him an award at a recent awards show.
One of Taylor’s best friends, Gigi Hadid, who was also at the Yeezy Season 3 show, immediately took to Twitter to comment about the song when it was debuted at the show.

Taylor Swift’s younger brother Austin also shared his thoughts via Instagram. In the video, Austin throws picks up his pair of Yeezy sneakers and throws them right in the trash! He captioned the video “Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.”

Taylor Swift, who has yet to respond, was not the only one who was called out in T.L.O.P. Ray J, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are among the names dropped in Kanye’s new songs.

{Update} – According to reports from TMZ, Kanye personally gave Taylor a phone call last month to tell her about the song and explain that it is a joke as he did not want to upset her. Taylor reportedly gave her approval for the lyrics and understood that he was joking.
