BN Collection To Closet: Somkele Idhalama in Meena
My fellow BellaNaijarians we’re back with another BN Collection To Closet the style feature where we show love to our African fashion designers by shining a light on those who #BuyAfrican. Today we’re featuring beautiful actress Somkele Idhalama in an asymmetric skirt from Meena’s Spring Summer 2016 collection.
A few weeks ago Richard and I reviewed this collection for our first ever Collection Conversations and went on about how much we loved this collection from Meena. It seems we weren’t the other ones who loved it because Somkele looks gorge in this Meena skirt she wore for Adebola Williams‘ birthday dinner.
For the lookbook the skirt was paired with a printed top but Somkele made the skirt the star of her outfit and styled the skirt with white silk blouse, white sandals and a navy blue turban to tie it all together. Her accessories were minimal with a simple clutch, bracelet and earring and I think it’s the right amount of accessories for this look and she looks great.
