Korede Bello-HND Matriculation at Nigerian Institute of Journalism-BellaNaija-3A student named Damilare has been reportedly failed by the Nigerian Institute of Journalism for reporting the “Godwin” crooner, Korede Bello’s absence from school for classes and examinations.

According to BlackBox Nigeria, Damilare has been marked down by the school and handed two carry overs because he reported that the Mavin’s act did not meet up to the 70% attendance requirement for examinations.

BlackBox Nigeria also gathered that the student, who is also a blogger had been threatened by the management of the school to face difficulty graduating from the country’s premiere monotechnic.

It was also reported that Nigerian Young Journalists Forum, and Journalists For Christ, bodies which Damilare belongs to, have vowed to get to the root of the matter. It also said that Damilare, who students acclaim to be one of the most brilliant in the class, will call for his exam scripts and challenge the results.

Korede Bello was reported to have passed in flying colours after the results were released last week.
