The 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards are TODAY | You can watch on DSTV – 16th March 2016

Blake KCAOn Wednesday 16 March 2016, Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) gives fans a front-row seat to the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards, the ultimate celebration of everything kids love in pop culture. Hosted by country music superstar and The Voice coach Blake Shelton, the biggest and slimiest event of the year will take place at the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California, and feature some of the biggest names in television, movies, music and social media.

The Kids’ Choice Awards premieres across Africa on Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) and Nicktoons (DStv channel 308) at 16:30 CAT on Wednesday 16 March 2016. The presenting sponsor for the 2016 Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards is the brand new comedy blockbuster “KUNG FU PANDA 3”.

The star-studded event will feature musical performances by DNCE, Charlie Puth with Wiz Khalifa, plus appearances by celebrities including Robert Downey Jr., Amy Poehler, Megan Fox, Ellen DeGeneres, Chris Evans, Meghan Trainor, Fifth Harmony, John Stamos, Heidi Klum, Cameron Dallas, Keke Palmer, Jason Sudeikis, Anthony Anderson, Zendaya, Chloe Bennet, Bethany Mota, Buddy Valastro, Dove Cameron, Grant Gustin, Josh Gad, Laura Marano, Will Arnett and cast members from Dance Moms, plus stars of Nick’s hit series Game Shakers (Kel Mitchell, Benjamin Flores Jr., Cree Cicchino, Madisyn Shipman, Thomas Kuc), The Thundermans (Jack Griffo, Kira Kosarin) and Henry Danger (Jace Norman).

Nominees for this year’s awards include Adele, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Chris Pratt, The Weeknd, John Boyega, One Direction, Sofia Vergara, Daisy Ridley, Chris Hemsworth, Nickelodeon’s very own Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Jace Norman and more, while a new African voting category sees recognition for bloggers Silvia Njoki (Kenya), Aisha Baker (South Africa), Uche Pedro (Nigeria) & Theodora Lee (South Africa).
