“There is not enough power in the country” – Watch what Fashola has to say about Electricity Instability

Speaking in Abuja recently, the Minister of Power, Works, and Housing Babatunde Fashola has said that there is no power in the country to distribute to citizens. Saying “it is difficult, if not impossible” to share what is not enough.

He said there is stability now in power generation nationwide, saying part of the problems in the power sector is vandalism, diverting of electricity, and refusal to pay bills by Nigerians. He called on Nigerians to join hands in solving the problems bedeviling the sector.

He also expressed optimism that the with the increase in power generation, the 10,000 Mega Watts electricity generation by 2019 promised by President Buhari will be achieved.
