BN Beauty: MUA Joy Adenuga tells us how to get these Vibrant ‘Colour-Pop’ Makeup looks

Talented makeup artist Joy Adenuga recently did a beauty spread for Blackhair Magazine and it’s filled with florals, vibrant colours and textured eyebrows. In this post, she’s sharing with BN Beauty how she achieved these makeup looks and the product she used. Feel free to use these looks as inspiration for your next face beat!

Skin was prepped using M.A.C prep and prime Natural radiance in Radiant yellow to hydrate and prime the skin. Foundation used was Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin enhancer. This was also used as a concealer as it’s a multi-tasking formula.

On the lips apply a mix of Anastasia beverlyhills liquid lipstick in Rio and Madison

To give the skin a more sultry glow, using my OPV brush brush I applied Makeup Addiction Cosmetics pigment in Enchanted.

Using a mix of M.A.C eyeshadows in Electric eel and Atlantic blue, apply all over the lid blending out and on the bottom lid, using a pencil brush apply a mix of M.A.C eyeshadows in steamy and humid.

Finish off with Estee lauder Pure color envy shine – Sculpting shine lipstick in Innocent all over the lips and using fingers, lightly pat on same shade on the cheeks for a luminous and sexy glow.

Using Makeup Addiction Cosmetics flaming love eye shadow palette, apply the shade Amethyst all over the eyelid and blend out towards the crease.

On the lips, using my fingers I applied Bobbi Brown’s Pot rouge for lips and cheeks in the shade Fresh Melon. This was also used as blush.
