GLO is Set to Make 1,000 Nigerians Richer + Five Others Get to Win N5m each in “Hamma Millions” promo

A mega promotion that will make over one thousand Nigerians richer and turn others into multi-millionaires has been unveiled by next generation network, Globacom!

Cash prizes worth N125 million will be given out to lucky winners in the next 100 days during the promotion known as Glo Hamma Millions Promo.

During the promo, N5 million will be won every 20 days by one lucky customer. In other words, five fortunate customers will smile home with N25m cash during the 100 days of the promo.

1,000 lucky subscribers will also go home with N100,000 each during the promo. The breakdown shows that 10 subscribers will win N100,000 cash every day for 100 days, making a total of 1,000 winners and a total of N100 million.

Speaking at the official launch of the promo at Glo Headquarters on Monday in Lagos, Globacom’s Coordinator, Enterprise Sales, Folu Aderibigbe, said

“For us at Globacom, the customers are the focal point of our operations. We are aware of the economic challenges faced by many now, and we are constantly looking for ways to positively impact the lives of our subscribers and help ease the difficult times.”

“We are committed to changing the lives of our people for good and to rewarding our loyal subscribers across the country. Glo Hamma Millions Promo is therefore designed to achieve this purpose, a total of 1005 winners will emerge in the promo. Draws will be done daily to determine the winners.”

Aderibigbe also said that while several companies were battling with the economic realities of the time, Glo was thinking of how to give more value to its customers. “Glo Hamma Millions Promo is therefore a testimony of the premium Globacom places on its subscribers.”

“To win in Glo Hamma Millions Promo, customers are required to text ‘GLO’ to 555 and answer a football trivia question. Within minutes of texting, subscribers will receive a particular question. A fresh question shows up each time the code is sent. After each text, N100 will be deducted from the subscribers’ account” Aderibigbe explained.

He added that the promo is open to only pre-paid subscribers and advised subscribers to increase their chances of winning by sending as many texts as possible.

“Globacom has distinguished itself as an operator that spares no resources in appreciating its customers. The company has since inception organized several customer-appreciation schemes with different category of winners emerging from all nooks and crannies of the country,” he said.

Several other promotions including Text4millions promo and Overload promo, in which it rewarded its subscribers with Millions of Naira in cash prizes have been launched by Globacom in the recent past.

Representatives of telecoms regulatory authorities at the event also commended Globacom for the promo. The NCC Lagos Zonal Controller, Okechukwu Aninweke said “NCC is always very happy and proud of the networks when they introduce innovative products and services, especially this initiative which is all about rewarding subscribers. We are aware of the network enhancements Globacom has done which has boosted its capacity, but we would like to advise that you should please still watch it, so that it doesn’t degrade the quality of service on the Glo network.”

Aninweke went further to say: “We would also like to advise Globacom to educate its subscribers on the workings of the promo. Let the subscribers realise that this is actually a lottery, and their winning money is entirely dependent on chance.”

Also, the Lagos Zonal Office Coordinator,National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Fidelis Ajibogun said: “We are here to endorse this promo. Transparency is very important to us.
