MissDee4 Sickle Cell foundation Presents “2016 World Sickle Cell Day Essay Writing Competition”

Missdee4 Sickle Cell Foundation presents ‘Face of Sickle Cell 2016‘ and we are Inviting sickle cell carriers to write an essay on life as a carrier and the prospects they have for the future.

The theme of the essay is ‘Sickle cell shall not be a drawback to my destiny’. The essay should explain your life as a sickle cell patient, the pains you have gone through, educate people about what it really is to be a carrier and how to manage the ailment, the advantages and disadvantages it has in your life and how you intend to over come it, your future ambition and a word of encouragement and hope for fellow carriers out there.

In all, the essay should not be more than 500 words.

The most inspiring essay wins a cash price of N100,000 and will be on our awareness billboard. Missdee foundation will also give out hospital and pharmacy vouchers on world sickle cell day to the 2nd and 3rd runner ups.
