BREAKING! Military Coup Underway in Turkey
Turkish military is attempting to overthrow the government in Istanbul.
According to Rudaw, a news platform in the Middle East, the military has taken over the state run broadcaster, TRT.
Reports say there is heavy military presence in Istanbul and social media sites, Facebook, Twitter alongside Youtube have been reportedly shut down in the country.
The military says the current government has damaged rule of law, democratic and secular system hence they are taking over.
