Three teenage boys have been arrested by the UK Police on suspicion of murdering a 17-year old Nigerian, Folajimi Orebiyi in Notting Hill, West London.

According to reports Folajimi had been pursued down Portobello Road by youths on bicycles after a fight broke out on a council estate nearby.

Witnesses said he was stabbed in the neck and fled to Portobello Road, where he collapsed. Police officers and paramedics tried to save his life but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to The UK Guardian, one witness who did not giver her name said: “I could just see his feet. The police were crowded around him, they were all on him trying to resuscitate him. It’s really sad: that’s someone’s child, someone’s baby. This (Monday) morning, at like four o’clock, they were using the power jets to clear away the blood, because it was like a sea of blood coming down the road.”

Folajimi had finished his GCSEs at Holland Park School and was reportedly studying for his A-levels at Chelsea Academy.

The Metropolitan police said two 16-year-old boys were arrested on Monday night and were being held at separate London police stations. It also said that another 15-year-old boy was arrested earlier Monday evening.
