Johnny Depp & Amber Heard reach $7 Million Settlement in Divorce/Domestic Violence Case

After a long couple of months, movie stars Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have reportedly settled their divorce case.
According to Just Jared, the 30-year-old actress has also dismissed her domestic violence restraining order petition due to the case being settled. The pair withdrew legal documents on Tuesday (August 16) for the domestic violence case, which was tied into the divorce case.
Johnny Depp is also reportedly paying soon to be ex-wife Amber $7 million plus her legal fees.
The couple released a joint statement saying:
“Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains. There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity.”
