As the #Budget2016 controversy gets more heated, the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Alhassan Ado-Doguwa in an intense interview with Channels Television‘s Seun Okin has said that Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin was removed from his position as Appropriations Chairman because he was found guilty of conspiracy with other agencies, and is a cancer to the legislative system of the Nigerian National Assembly.
He said that Jibrin “dubiously” appropriated N4.8 billion to his constituency, while he (Ado-Doguwa) secured a “chicken” N1.8 billion for his constituency.
Ado-Doguwa said Jibrin was removed on the basis of incompetence and for taking members of his committee for granted. He described Jibrin as a “professional blackmailer”.
He added that the #Budget2016 is a perfect document.
