Will You Watch? An “Empire” Spinoff starring Lucious Lyon & Cookie is reportedly in the works

There is no doubt that Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) and Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) keep things very interesting on FOX hit series “Empire” and now there are talks of a spinoff show happening with a storyline for the two of them.
Will you watch it?
According to reports, “talk of a possible spin-off centered on the storyline of Lucious and Cookie Lyon has been quietly bubbling since last season and executive producer Ilene Chaiken dropped yet another hint that Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard might be teaming up yet again in the near future.”
When asked about the possibility of a spin-off at the Television Critics Association press tour on Monday Ilene told reporters “There certainly could be and we talk about it. I think the show offers so many opportunities. There are potential spin-offs with Lucious and Cookie’s characters, sure.”
For the upcoming third season of “Empire” several new faces have been confirmed including Taye Diggs as Cookie’s new love interest and Mariah Carey.
