Mary J. Blige’s Estranged Husband wants her to pay his Legal Fees in Ongoing Divorce Drama & Pay Spousal Support

According to reports from TMZ, Mary J. Blige‘s estranged husband/ex-manager, Martin “Kendu” Isaacs, has filed a response to Mary’s divorce petition and one of the things he wants his spousal support, another is for MJB to pay his legal fees.
It is unclear if they have a prenup but MJB is doing her best to block him from having access to her money.
Mary J. Blige and Kendu officially separated in July after 12 years of marriage.
In a statement released in August through her rep, she said “Ms. Blige is saddened to say [that] it is true that she has filed for divorce, saying sometimes things don’t work how we hoped they would… but, there is a divine plan and a reason for everything. Mary will continue writing and working on her album, which is due out later this year along with her world tour. She thanks and appreciates her fans for their support and love through this very difficult emotional time.”
