#MTVMAMA2016: Wizkid, Flavour, Linda Ikeji & More Nominated for this Year’s MTV Africa Music Awards + Trevor Noah announced as Host for the Show

South African comedian and host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” Trevor Noah will be heading home to host the sixth edition of the 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA).

The event is set to take place at Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016. It will feature performances from stand-out African stars like Alikiba, Babes Woduma, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Ycee and Yemi Alade.

MAMA 2016 will also stream online on MTV Base and other performers and the full list of nominees will be announced soon.
