William & Tracy Talk About Cheating & Being Pardoned/Punished | Watch VLog

One of the ironies of human thinking is that regardless of what the statistics have to say, we always seem to assume for us, it will be different. Most adults today will confess to coming from homes where infidelity was witnessed, mostly perpetuated by fathers thanks to the cultural set up around relationships and sex, but of course that is not to say women don’t cheat as well.

If we decided to kill ants with sledgehammers, the truth is, most of us will end up single or divorced as the case may be. So what are we to do? Are we to keep raise the punishment for cheating to the standard of capital punishment, hoping this serves as a deterrent for potential cheats. Or, is this a cultural phenomenon we just have to adapt to and learn to live with hoping it doesn’t happen to us.

Like all matters of the heart, there are no easy answers this one; but Tracy and I do our best stumbling in the dark and hoping something resonates.

So over to you, what do you think should be done about this phenomenon that is near enough an epidemic in today’s culture? Not that it hasn’t been happening since marriage was invented.
