Lady Gaga gets Teary Eyed as she Opens Up about Her Split from Taylor Kinney, Lack of Privacy & Fame

Lady Gaga hasn’t talked too in depth about the split since, but in a candid interview with CBS Sunday Morning, she hinted at why it fell apart.

“I think women love very hard,” she said. “We love men. We just love with everything we have. And sometimes I don’t know that that love is met with the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with. You know, we’re not trying to make you less of a man. We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you.”

She also discussed how she has dealt with the lack of privacy that comes with A-list fame.

“I’m very acutely aware that once I cross that property line I’m not free anymore,” she started. “As soon as I go out in the world I belong in a way to everyone else. It’s legal to follow me. It’s legal to stalk me at the beach. I can’t call the police or ask them to leave and I took a long hard look at that property line and I said ‘Well you know if I can’t be free out there I’m going to be free in here,'” she finished, pointing to her heart.

Gaga started tearing up when the reporter asked her to elaborate more.

“I miss people. I’m sorry,” she said, wiping her tears. “I miss people. Yeah, I miss people. I miss going anywhere and meeting a random person and saying hi and having a conversation about life. I love people.”
